Bahman Farhadi Bansouleh

Dr. Bahman Farhadi Bansouleh, born in 1974, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Water Engineering at Razi University. After receiving his high school diploma in Mathematics and Physics in 1992, he completed his B.Sc. in Agricultural Engineering–Irrigation at Shiraz University (1996), his M.Sc. in Agricultural Engineering–Irrigation and Drainage at the University of Tehran (1998), and his Ph.D. in Irrigation and Drainage at Wageningen University in the Netherlands (2009).

Since 1998, Dr. Farhadi has been a faculty member at Razi University. In addition to his teaching and research activities, he has held several administrative positions, including Head of the Department of Water Engineering, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, and Vice-Chancellor for Research and Administration at the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources. He has also been active in specialized committees of the MSRT, the boards of trustees of higher education institutions, and the editorial boards of scientific journals. Beyond his academic career, he has experience in consulting and collaboration with engineering consulting firms.

His research interests include water resources management, crop growth simulation models, applications of remote sensing and GIS in irrigation and drainage, and evaluation of pressurized irrigation systems. He has published several articles in international and national journals and has participated in several international scientific conferences.
